Original 1920s 20s Late Edwardian Antique Satin Faille Coat With Amazing Soutache EmbroideryThis amazing evening coat was made from black silk satin with a faille texture in the late 1910s early 1920. It comes in a rare Volup size and is cut in a loose fitting silhouette with a dropped waist and wonderful wide fluted kimono sleeves. The collar, lapels and cuffs are decorated with wonderfully detailed embroidery and soutache work, almost mimicking the effect of lace. The coat fastens with three large buttons and loops at the drop waist.
